American River Speech Therapy is a private practice located in the Sacramento area. We specialize in working with children who have complex communication needs. This includes a specialty for working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech and other developmental disabilities. We believe in the potential of every child who walks through our doors and work together with each family to develop individualized plans that empower the children and the families working with them to meet and exceed their goals in communication.

American River speech is certified through the California State Department of Education to provide speech and language services to local schools as a certified Non-Public Agency (NPA). American River Speech is proud to work together with public schools to develop appropriate services as directed by each students individualized education plan. (IEP)
